Navy SEAL Lieutenant A.K. Waters and his elite squadron of tactical specialists are forced to choose between their duty and their humanity, between following orders by ignoring the conflict that surrounds them, or finding the courage to follow their conscience and protect a group of innocent refugees. When the democratic government of Nigeria collapses and the country is taken over by a ruthless military dictator, Waters, a fiercely loyal and hardened veteran is dispatched on a routine mission to retrieve a Doctors Without Borders physician, Dr. Lena Kendricks.

Dr. Kendricks, an American citizen by marriage, is tending to the victims of the ongoing civil war at a Catholic mission in a remote village. When Waters arrives, however, Dr. Kendricks refuses to leave unless he promises to help deliver the villagers to political asylum at the nearby border. If they are left behind, they will be at the mercy of the enormous rebel army. Waters is under strict orders from his commanding officer Captain Bill Rhodes to remain disengaged from the conflict.

But as he and his men witness the brutality of the rebels first-hand, they are won over to Dr. Kendricks' cause and place their lives at risk by agreeing to escort the villagers on a perilous trek through the dense jungle. As they move through the countryside on foot, Waters' team, experts at evasion and concealment, are inexplicably and ferociously pursued by an army of rebels.

They are confounded until they discover that, among the refugees, is the sole survivor of the country's previous ruling family, whom the rebels have been ordered to eliminate at all costs. Waters and his small band of soldiers must weigh the life of one man against their own and the refugees they feel obliged to protect.

The Message (1976)

Film ini berdasarkan pemberontakan militer yang nyata pernah terjadi pada waktu perang korsel vs korut sekitar tahun 70'an. Cerita diawali dengan rencana pembunuhan Presiden Korsel oleh pasukan korut tapi gagal. Oleh karena itu korsel membalas rencana pembunuhan tersebut dengan merekrut pasukan yg terdiri dari 31 narapidana yang akan dihukum mati yang kemudian dilatih di pulau silmido dengan pelatihan yang keras dan kejam tidak seperti pelatihan pasukan biasa dengan misi membunuh presiden Korut. Karena dianggap sebagai misi yang berbahaya dan nyawa sebagai taruhannya maka pasukan tersebut dijanjikan akan diberikan kebebasan dan 'kehidupan baru' seandainya misi berhasil.

Namun ketika 31 orang tersebut sudah dikirimkan ke daerah musuh, secara tiba-tiba dipanggil kembali dan misi dibatalkan karena pihak korsel memutuskan untuk berdamai dengan korut. Karena kecewa akibat batalnya misi tersebut maka mereka menjadi frustasi sehingga dari 31 pasukan tersebut ada yang berontak dan berbuat ulah bahkan memperkosa seorang dokter wanita. Untuk menjaga rahasia agar keberadaan pasukan tersebut dengan rencana jahatnya membunuh presiden korut tidak diketahui pihak luar dan demi perdamaian dengan korut terwujud, maka badan intelijen Korsel memutuskan untuk "menghilangkan" pasukan tersebut.

Green Zone (2010)

Pemicu terjadinya perang Irak adalah dugaan bahwa di negeri yang dikomandoi oleh Saddam Hussein tersebut tersimpan beberapa senjata pemusnah masal yang berada di sebuah tempat tersembunyi di negeri tersebut.

Atas dasar keyakinan tersebut, maka pemerintah Amerika menugaskan Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Matt Damon) untuk membongkar dimana tempat senjata mematikan ini.

Informasi tempat senjata pemusnah masal ini jelas tidak dapat diperoleh lewat pihak Irak yang bersikeras bahwa mereka tidak mempunyai senjata seperti yang diberitakan pemerintah Amerika. Akhirnya Roy harus melacak lokasi senjata ini hanya dengan mengandalkan beragam informasi yang diperolehnya lewat pihak intelejen. Biarpun telah diberikan bantuan peralatan canggih, tetap saja tugas tersebut beresiko cukup tinggi.
